Help us fund Sun Sails to shade and protect Sydenham School’s outdoor spaces!



Could you chip in to help us reach a fundraising target of £5,000 to install permanent sun sails at school?


The shades will give students essential sun (and rain!)  protection during break and lunchtime, and for other outdoor activities year round.


The school currently has very limited shaded areas, leaving students exposed to strong sun and high temperatures during the summer months, and with no rain cover during adverse weather.


Sun sails will:

  • Provide essential UV/ rain protection for students

  • Create cooler, more comfortable areas for socialising and outdoor learning

  • Offer long‑term benefits for the whole school community

  • £6 upwards helps fund essential fittings and hardware

  • £25 contributes to the cost of high‑quality shade materials

  • £50 supports professional installation

  • £100+ makes a significant impact toward completing the project
